Josh White and the North Texas basketball team outgunned UT Arlington in a 101-99 double-overtime thriller on Wednesday night, and now must turn their attention to Gallagher-Iba Arena and the Cowboys of Oklahoma State.
White poured in a career-high 35 points and ranks fifth in the nation in scoring average on the young season.
The game is being televised by the Cowboy Sports Network, and will be shown nationally on Fox Sports Plus (DirecTV 677, Dish Network 451).

Three people are dead and three others are hurt after a head-on collision between a sport-utility vehicle and a minivan on a rain-slick north Texas highway.
That's 25 miles northeast of Dallas.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says it was raining when the northbound SUV crossed into the oncoming lane and slammed head-on into the oncoming minivan.

At the age of 7, Dwight Bentley turned to football as a way to escape the gangs and violence in his hometown of Pahokee, Fla.
So instead of running the streets, Bentley was on the football field in a small farm town with a population of 6,500 that produces college football players at one of the highest per capita rates in the nation.
